Utdrag
In the past five to six decades, the world has witnessed a sweeping tide of globalization, fundamentally altering the way nations and cultures interact.

This surge in globalization has underscored the ever-growing necessity for effective intercultural communication, a process essential for bridging the gaps across cultural boundaries.

Furthermore, we have observed a heightened level of international integration, spanning politics, tourism, and commerce.

This integration has magnified the significance of proficient communication to a level where it is imperative to circumvent misunderstandings and promote cooperation.

To gain a more comprehensive grasp of intercultural communication, we turn to a foundational theoretical model, one crafted by the distinguished American anthropologist, Edward T. Hall.
