Introduktion
Hospitals nowadays lack the number of organ donors and as a result, many patients do not get proper treatment, leading many cases to death. The supply of organs available for transplantations is already far smaller than the demand, which will grow substantially the near future.
Scientists are for that matter trying to find ways to overcome this issue, by finding ether technologies that can replace organ functions or a way to increase the organ supplies.
One way to increase the number of organs available is by cloning humans and taking their organs, once they grow up and become adults. Sure, this might sound like a great idea, but what about the clones and how they feel about all of this?
Creating human clones for your own good and others is not perfect after all. The clones are yet still human beings, just like everybody else on the planet.
Not only that but there are four principles of medical ethics that involve the clones when using them as organ carriers, other words, rules that involve all humans and clones. So, is it really right to clone people and use their clones as organ donors?
Utdrag
Throughout the story as a reader, you do not get to know much how they feel about everything going on, and as the story progresses, they seem to care less about what’s going on.
Although ignoring what was going on with the cloning situation, they nevertheless received any chances to tell their point of view on the story and what was happening. Apart from the novel, not giving clones their human rights is wrong both in reality and fiction.
