Introduktion
Hi, Greetings, fellow students of Johns Hopkins University. I'm Frederik Krogh-Hansen, a student here at Johns Hopkins as well, and I'm truly grateful that you've taken the time to join me today. It's an honor to have been given the opportunity to address my fellow students and share my thoughts.
When I was asked to give this speech, I was tasked with discussing an incredibly captivating and exhilarating topic: The American Dream.
Utdrag
A recent survey of 2,000 Americans revealed that just under 20 percent believe they are living The American Dream, while a staggering 50 percent feel they are not realizing any part of it.
Millennials, in particular, have faced considerable challenges, enduring one of the most severe economic downturns in American history, which made job hunting, especially with older generations delaying retirement, incredibly tough.
Hearth's CEO, Anthony Ghosn, emphasizes the importance of homeownership, yet nearly 40 percent of Americans do not own a home. Isn't that astounding?
However, Millennials remain 49 percent more optimistic than Baby Boomers about eventually experiencing the dream. Ghosn rightly emphasizes that a home is not just an emotional investment but also a financial one.
