Introduktion
Passive smoking, also known as secondhand smoke, is a serious public health concern that affects non-smokers who are exposed to tobacco smoke in indoor and outdoor spaces.

The smoke from a burning cigarette contains over 7000 chemicals, many of which are toxic and carcinogenic. It is a known fact that passive smoking can cause serious health problems, such as lung cancer, heart disease, and respiratory illness.

For these reasons, I firmly believe that smoking in public places should be banned and designated smoking areas should be implemented. First and foremost, smoking in public places poses a serious health risk to non-smokers who are exposed to secondhand smoke.

This is especially concerning in enclosed spaces such as restaurants, bars, and workplaces where smoke can linger and accumulate, exposing non-smokers to dangerous levels of toxins.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), secondhand smoke is responsible for the deaths of over 600,000 people globally each year, including children and non-smoking adults.
