Introduktion
Greetings, everyone! I'm Sofie Pedersen, and I've just turned 16. I hail from the charming Scandinavian country of Denmark.

Today, I'm excited to give you a glimpse into the world of Danish high schools and share my personal experiences.

I'll delve into the subjects we study here in Danish schools and highlight some key differences you might notice compared to the American educational system.

If there's anything you find unclear during my presentation, don't worry! I'll be available for a 15-minute Q&A session afterward.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have, and I'll do my best to provide you with comprehensive answers.

The difference
Now, let's delve into the transition from elementary school to high school, a journey that, personally, I've found to be quite pleasant and smooth.

In elementary school, you were accustomed to seeing the same familiar faces and having the same teachers day in and day out.

You didn't have much choice when it came to subjects – you had to take everything, even if it didn't pique your interest.

However, as I made the leap to high school, I found myself encountering an entirely new set of people. I also gained the freedom to choose the subjects I wanted to study, thanks to the school I selected.

Speaking of homework, many folks seem to think there's a significant increase in high school, but I beg to differ.

From my perspective, it's been quite similar to what I experienced in elementary school, without any overwhelming stress or busyness.

My school took proactive measures to foster social bonds among us students. We engaged in various activities at the beginning of the school year, including speed dating sessions.
